The Visual Arts Center strives to include art in the lives of everyone, regardless of class or race. Donations help us keep the cost of classes low and cover regular operating expenses and art supplies.
A not-for-profit organization cannot usually sustain itself by service fees and dues alone – an annual gift campaign helps get us to the break-even point every year. The Century Club was established in 1991 as the annual gift campaign for the VAC. The monies collected each year through the Century Club make the critical difference in a positive or negative fund balance.
Remember, we don’t receive federal, state, or local tax revenue—nor do we plan on asking for it in the future. Donations through the Century Club help the Visual Arts Center to meet its rising operating costs. Your contribution also helps us keep membership dues, class registration, workshop fees, studio time, and exhibit fees low. The VAC offers the highest quality and diverse artistic opportunities in the region and remains the most affordable.
How much does it cost to join the Century Club? $100 per year is the minimum for Century Club, but any gift you can reasonably make is appreciated.
