Stained Glass

Stained Glass I
Instructor:  Sandy Busher

The goal for the beginner's class is twofold. Not only will the student be able to accomplish any easy to intermediate stained glass project using the copper foil method, but they should have fun in the process. Each student will be able to finish one small sun catcher, using the copper foil method, within the first two days. At the end of the second day, the students will pick their pattern of choice from 8 different pattern books and should complete that project by the end of the 6 weeks.

Stained Glass
Instructor:  Bob Bayliss

Students will be taught the copper foil method for stained glass. Learn how to cut and grind glass, copy a pattern onto “sticky paper” and transfer it to the glass for cutting. Students will then learn how to copper foil the glass and solder it. By the completion of the class, students will have made a 10”x 16” panel with a brass border.
