Featured Artist: Cheryl McClure
Cheryl was born and raised in Chicago and then lived in Colorado before trading ski equipment for scuba gear and moving to Florida in 1993. She immediately became fascinated by the wondrous creatures, colored by nature’s paintbrush, inhabiting the ocean. More recently, her passion for photography has spilled over into the fabulous Florida wildlife, flora and fauna. Besides time spent photographing the beauty around her, Cheryl also spends time volunteering in our Gift Shop.
Cheryl is pictured here with renowned photographer Clyde Butcher, when she was awarded 2nd place in the Rookery Bay National Estuary Program’s annual photography contest.
