Crossroads is a non-profit organization that offers residential program services to teens who struggle fitting into the foster care system and society in general. Crossroads is home to 24 boys ranging in age from 14-18.  These youth are provided an opportunity to transform their lives through positive and motivating programming that inspires learning, leadership and personal growth. New Operation Cooper Street assists in the development of our youth by providing valuable and lasting tools to encourage motivation, pride and the desire to succeed. The Visual Arts Center and Cooper Street have partnered to provide summer art camp for New Operation Cooper Street students. The Visual Arts Center provides a variety of programs to youth including summer art camp and art classes for Charlotte Academy in an effort to enrich children’s learning and expose them to the arts, especially in light of decreased funding given to the art programs in schools. Visit their websites at and to learn more about these organizations.

The Crossroads home for boys gives 24 teens, giving them a place to live, practical skills and guidance they can use to start a better life.
